Nutrition:
Confused about what to eat? You’re not alone! With thousands of diet books out on the market, debates between dietitians and nutritionists, as well as a flood of expert and inexpert opinions available online (nutrition being the second most common search topic on the web!), it can be hard to filter through the good the bad and the ugly to come up with reliable information.
Today, you live in an obesagenic environment. Everything around you is impacting your health in a negative way, and if you choose to go with the flow, you will become unhealthy, unhappy and over fat.
Nutritional habits must be adjusted to promote the outcomes you desire. Today, what most of us consider ‘food’, did not even exist less than a hundred years ago! Fast foods, fractionated foods, convenience foods, packaged foods – all are, basically, fake foods. These foods, when consumed, actually alter your biochemistry and cause a cascade of negative events like disease, fat gain, fatigue, depression and premature death. In order to look good on the outside, you must be well balanced on the inside.
Ruslan’s take on nutrition is, it’s not only what you eat, it’s what you digest and what you absorb that is fundamental. Respecting your own unique biochemical individuality, as well as your history (medical, dietary, emotional, etc.), should always be considered when seeking your optimal nutritional strategies.

What can you expect from Ruslan?
Ruslan offers comprehensive in-person and web-based nutritional and lifestyle coaching. Both methods include detailed assessments of your current and past habits and a four-week plan you can use to improve your health and body. Assessments will be based on information about the following:
Dietary History - are you a Yo-Yo dieter? Have you tried fat burners in the past? Have you always struggled with fat loss? Your dieting history impacts your body and mind in a big way, and could explain why you’re having trouble losing fat today!
Digestive Status – this comprehensive questionnaire helps to determine whether you have issues with your digestion, and if you do, what the problem is. It’s very common to see people with digestive disorders, irregular bowel movements, cognitive decline, food allergies, abnormal behavior in children and more. Yes, your gut health does affect all those things and more.
Hormonal Status* – your nutritional habits and daily lifestyle choices, as well as life circumstances, can impact your hormonal response ,and it may not always be in a good way: high cortisol and poor insulin management will set you up for a health disaster. By knowing what imbalances you may have, and correcting them via lifestyle coaching and nutritional modulation, Ruslan will be able to help you drop fat and improve your health very quickly. Analysis will include Insulin, Cortisol, Estrogen, Androgens, Growth Hormone and Thyroid status. *Not included in the web-based service.
Nutrient Status – do you have deficiencies or imbalances of vital nutrients such as zinc, hcl, magnesium, fatty acids, or amino acids? Deficiencies in certain nutrients cause blood sugar imbalances, cravings, and more. By correcting these deficiencies, you will start feeling better right away, your sleep quality will improve, and your digestion, mood and energy will revert to normal.
Lifestyle Overview – Ruslan’s goal is to identify your life stressors and to educate you on how they impact your health and body composition. He will also assess your sleeping habits, daily behaviors, and more. Remember it was more than a lack of exercise that got your body to where it is today. Poor sleeping habits will cause insulin resistance, poor growth hormone production and more. Once you figure out the core triggers to gaining fat and declining health, you will be able to address those triggers and achieve greater success.
Medical Analysis – your medical history plays a big role in how successful you will be with your body transformation. Are you on any medication? Acid blockers destroy your digestion and strongly contribute to a pro inflammatory circumstance! Are you a diabetic, do you suffer from depression? Ruslan will work with you to improve your health through nutritional advice, lifestyle coaching and strength training. Ruslan will also discuss some of the dangers of depending on pharmaceutical solutions for good health and disease prevention. There is a better way to achieve good health.
If you choose to work with Ruslan in person, you will meet with him once a week to monitor your progress. These thirty-minute sessions allow you and Ruslan to monitor your progress, to discuss your plan, and to make any necessary adjustments. If you ever have a concern or forget to ask Ruslan something during your follow up sessions, you also have 24/7 access to him via email.
Web-based nutritional coaching gives you the benefit of Ruslan's knowledge and experience without having to meet in person. Ruslan will conduct your assessments through email using a series of photos and questionnaires. You will receive a four week plan, which will be adjusted weekly according to your progress. You will communicate daily with Ruslan via e-mail.
Your cells die off and turn over everyday, if you start doing the right thing now, you can literally be a different person in six months!
Lifestyle:
Your lifestyle choices have a profound effect on your body. Virtually every thought, every emotion and every action, triggers biochemical reactions (and vice versa) that will either make you or break you over time. Everyday circumstances that you may not even think much of often cause serious distress. Are you over-committed and busy all the time? Do you wake up every night for no reason? Tired and cranky? Do you suffer from cognitive decline like memory loss and mental fog? Perhaps you don’t get along with your boss or a co worker at work? Most of these issues will trigger catabolism and an unstable environment where your body no longer cares about the things that you want, like fat loss and looking good at the beach. All it cares about is survival and keeping you alive regardless of how you look and feel by the end of the day.
Learn how you can turn your life around for the better by applying some of the simplest and easiest, yet very effective, strategies. You will have to give up some things; it only makes sense that if you expect change, you will need to change.
